The Left-Handed Chef
/Sitting unassumingly along Park Street in South Melbourne, Left-Handed Chef is a delightful café exuding charm with its welcoming and relaxed ambience.
Having visited Left-Handed Chef in the past, we were excited to be back and were pleased to see that owner and Chef Ehud Malka's passion for food continues to shine through with the new menu offerings.
We loved the Pulled pork tacos so much the last time that we had to order it again - Filled with a medley of crackling, hot apple chutney, coleslaw and slowly roasted pork it was an addictive combination. The pulled pork was as expected, both tender and delicious, with caramel undertones. This brunch dish had it all - crackling, tender meat and vibrant fresh flavours.
The WAFFLE MANIA offerings were excellent. The Vegie Sister Waffle we tried was absolutely delicious - Think Cheesy waffles adorned with layers of chilli eggs, goats curd, pesto mushies and asparagus - And yes, it tastes even better than it looks.
Continuing on the WAFFLE MANIA trend, we concluded our visit with some delicious wonuts (waffle doughnuts) over excellently prepared coffees.
The Left-Handed Chef continues to draw in the crowds with a delicious menu that brings the simple pleasures of life to the forefront with an air of fun and joy.
