Prince Public Bar
/For decades, Prince Public Bar has been a much-loved watering hole for St Kilda locals and in light of its recent renovation, is now also a go-to brunch spot.
The menu offers a stunning selection of brunch options that has something for everyone.
We adored the dish simply named “Seasonal Avocado” - PPB’s take on the Melbourne breakfast staple, the smashed avo. This was an extremely elegant and finessed version. Crusty toasted rye was topped with cubes of seasonal avocado and adorned with vegan feta, native Australian dukkah and finger lime.
The coconut chia and sago pudding was similarly delightful. Think coconut and lemongrass yoghurt, dragon fruit, nuts and seeds granola. Simple, yet simply beautiful.
On the drinks front, coffee is great and poured by adept baristas and there are also plenty of non-caffeine options like freshly squeezed juice and turmeric lattes.
If you’re after a relaxing and delicious breakfast prepared with the utmost care, look no further.
