Stables Provedore Cafe is a newly opened café located in Mirvac’s Tullamore community in Doncaster. The café brings fresh produce and delectable dishes to Melbourne’s East and is a must-visit for foodies of all ages. Stables Provedore Cafe occupies a much-loved local historic
landmark previously known as the ‘Elephant House’, on the former 47-hectare Eastern Golf Course site.
Originally a home for racehorses, the Stables has undergone a major refurbishment and now incorporates dining facilities for up to 40 people inside along with outdoor alfresco decking with seating for up to 110 people.
The Stables Provedore Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch from 7:00am to 4:00pm, with the adjoining provedore open from 7:00am to 5:30pm, offering gourmet “grab and go” meals and a broad range of fresh produce to allow people to cook their favourite dishes at home.
We loved tasting our way through the seasonal menu complemented by Veneziano Coffee, roasted in Richmond. Menu highlights include Polenta with mixed mushrooms, Stracciatella and fried artichokes as well as the wholesome nourish bowl. Highly recommended!
