V Series

V Series Café pleases with vegetarian delights alongside vegan options which are hearty and smacked full of flavour. 

The menu is dedicated to fresh produce with a focus on flavour with dishes that respectfully combine Western and East Asian flavour profiles to great effect.

To start, the vegan steam buns impressed with beautifully made "pork belly" tofu, pickled cabbage, cucumber, peanuts, coriander all encased within fluffy steamed buns. We loved the 3 layered "pork belly" tofu which featured a tender but rigid "meat layer" a softer "fat layer" and a more elastic "skin". It was a very clever and absolutely moreish use of tofu which resulted in a delightful vegetarian bao that would appeal to even the most carnivorous individuals.

To follow, the Vegan Benedict and the Power Stack were both delicious. 

The Benedict was well balanced, loaded with umami and featured a wonderful array of wilted spinach, mushrooms, tomato, crispy tofu and avocado sitting atop an English muffin - all finished off with a luxurious vegan hollandaise. It was a wonderfully exciting and healthy take on the traditional benedict.  

The Power Stack on the other hand was a nutrient dense picture perfect dish which managed to taste even better than it looked. Think crusty sourdough adorned with creamy pesto and ricotta spread, topped with generous lashings of decadent avocado, fresh and juicy heirloom tomatoes and crispy kale. Yum!

For dessert, the vegan and gluten free roasted coconut pannacotta is simply delightful and will ensure you conclude your visit on a sweet note. Melt in your mouth pannacotta was topped with fresh tropical fruits and Persian fairy floss.

Before you leave, we suggest taking a couple of their extremely moreish vegan cupcakes with you - As good if not better than their original counterparts. 

V Series delivers with honest, wholesome food that well-priced within a great atmosphere.
