Once you come to terms with the production line based ordering procedure (you order and pay at opposite ends of the shop) the salads are fresh and generously proportioned. We really enjoyed the quinoa chicken salad - fresh, nutritious and flavoursome.
Undeniably slick, Laneway Greens is the epitome of a modern salad bar. A stunning fit out combined with nutrient rich, delicious salads smoothies and juices makes this a compelling proposition. Our favourite is the lentils and ancient grains salad with Yarra Valley feta, pickled cauliflower and house made hummus - yum! The only complaint is the prices are definitely on the higher end of the spectrum.
Located in Federation Square, Arintji serves up an assortment of beef cuts cooked over a charcoal grill. Having tried almost all of the other steak restaurants in Melbourne, we recently headed down to Federation Square to test out Arintji. The quality of the beef was good but unfortunately during our visit, the steaks were cooked somewhat inconsistently. Perhaps an off day in the kitchen.
