Following the donut stop, we head on down to one of the newer areas of the market where we visit Padre Coffee. In conjunction with local chocolatier Monsieur Truffe, Padre has created a selection of chocolate bars with unique flavours which are the perfect way to finish off the tour. Our favorite chocolate bar tasting was the Daddy's Girl which consists of the freshly roasted Padre coffee beans. The coffee flavors blended superbly with the chocolate providing a balanced sweet ending to the tour!

Our chocoholic guide informs us about the history of the market and the famous American Donut Van. The recipe of the donuts has never changed and we know why! The beautifully fluffy donut with a burst of jam is made on site in the small van, and is served fresh and hot. Be sure to eat the donut while it's hot to enjoy it at the best point.
